This 19th century Derby porcelain soup tureen in the most desirable cobalt blue and white "Derby Lily" pattern, is a show stopper and in pristine condition. The borders, handles and trim are all embellished with gilt enamels and the vibrant cobalt blue contrasts with the clean white ground. The size is perfect as a soup tureen, centerpiece or used as a vessel for flowers or seasonal decorations. It also matches the 12 large rimmed soup plates/bowls also listed.
The under plate is a perfect match but made at a later date and was exclusively retailed at the famous Gilman Collamore showroom in New York. Ca. 1890's
