Set of 10 Nymphenberg Hand Painted Fruit Plates with Pierced Borders
This unusual set of 10 dessert plates are hand painted with fruit specimens with the interesting addition of nuts, pomegranates and gooseberries. The ground is a clean white creating a nice contrast to the polychrome enamels and the pierced borders add another element of elegance. The blank is also molded with a 2-dimensional relief pattern. 8 1/4" diameter ca. 1910
