This is a lovely grouping of 19th century Minton pierced rim hand-painted dessert plates with a pair of tall matching footed compotes. The bright strawberry-pink enamel basket-weave border is accented with three hand-painted floral decorated cartouche reserves, all highlighted with gilt trim. The two compotes are a dramatic addition to the collection which creates a stunning display. Of course these were also made to be used and enjoyed!
