A lovely hand painted dessert set made by Minton ca. 1920's this service consists of 10 dessert plates measuring 9 1/8" in diameter and is accompanied by 3 matching footed compotes. The central piece is 5 1/4 " tall and 9 1/2" in diameter and the 2, 9 1/2" D matching lower compotes are 2 1/2" tall. Each piece is hand painted with central roses and surrounded by reserves of alternating botanical specimens contrasting beautifully on the vibrant turquoise border. All embellished with gold, this set is another example of Minton's fine artistry and craftsmanship.
