This is an extensive and exquisite 19th century dessert service was made by Rihouet, Paris, circa 1820s. Each piece is superbly hand painted with a unique botanical specimen framed by the iconic Rose DuBarry ribbon border and trimmed in gold. The set consists of 12 dessert plates, two large fruit baskets with woven lattice-work and braided handles, two low flat compotes and one tall dished compote.
