This is a gorgeous set of 12 hand painted dinner plates, artist signed by F. Howard. What makes these unusual is the wonderful dove gray border, embellished with gold enamel. Each plate is uniquely decorated with sprays of flower specimens highlighting the color scheme. The borders have shaped rims and these would be lovely as service plates, used for display and over-the-top dinner plates. Ca. 1940's
