A rare and wonderful set of 12 individually decorated octagonal cabinet plates depicting the historical homes of America. Featuring the homes of  John Quincy Adams, The White House, Monticello and others, these make a fabulous display in a library or conversation pieces when used as service/presentation plates at your dinner table. The designs were original subjects painted by Isabel Marshall. The unusual shape further enhances their appeal with gilded borders, highlighted in French Blue. 10 1/8" diameter,  Ca.1927,  all in excellent condition.
